It’s been another week of relatively little progress. I’ve been thinking on the work, rather than doing the work. Still, we have another It Came From Cohost segment this week, and I have a bunch of ideas for blog posts that I intend to briefly talk about.

This last week has been devoted to recovery from the convention. I managed to not get sick, but I’m also not as young as I used to be, and my disabilities make energy management more difficult. I’m starting to pull out of the slump now, and will be endeavoring to complete Project: Greenbriar by the end of the month. It will probably be in very rough shape, but that’s how things go!It’s going to be an extra workshop this week, but in exchange I’m starting up a new segment which I’m titling It Came From Cohost, where I use this newsletter to be a new home for some of my microblogs from Cohost. I hope you enjoy!

I’ve just returned home from Metatopia. By and large, I had a very good experience, and a lot of the ideas that were sparked in my time there will take time for me to fully decompress. Still, it’s great meat for my continuing labors, a seed for new growths. You can expect more updates based on my experiences over the coming weeks.For now, though, I am absolutely exhausted, so it’s going to be a shorter newsletter than usual this week.

This newsletter has been great about getting me into the proper mindset to actually do the work on a weekly basis, so that I have something to show for myself. In particular, it’s been great for getting me to read other works and think about the things that people are making. That said, this newsletter also has a function of reaching out to people, partially for marketing and partially just to help people. So far, the newsletter has not done great in getting out to people, so consider this another plea to subscribe and also to share the newsletter with people who think might be interested in reading it.Also, if there’s anything in specific you’d like to see me talk about, please let me know and I’ll consider adding a section devoted to that concept. Also! if you have a blog or a game that you’d like me to consider for my ludography, please feel free to send those my way! Not everything I get sent will be included, but everything will be read.

I’ve had a very busy week, getting a lot of work done, making some serious progress. It’s also been pretty exhausting, but in a good way. Building up the endurance to be able to keep at this rate without the side effects is going to be an ongoing goal moving forward. Still, the work feels important and the results are building with every day of work. I’m getting there, inch by inch.

It’s been a thoughtful week. I’ve put out a theory based article and it seems to have gone over well. Beyond that, I’ve mostly been thinking about projects, rather than doing the physical labor of writing out those thoughts. Both parts must exist in equilibrium with each other, to assure the push forward, to see the job done.
